About the Project

My team and I ideated innovative solutions to improve user engagement and retention on the platform, focusing on solutions tailored to the user's consumption of entertainment on the platform. We researched and analyzed Twitter's competitive environment and key performance indicators to guide strategic product decisions.

Problem

One of the biggest conversation drivers on Twitter are movie premieres and TV shows. Despite that fact, it is very difficult for the average Twitter user today to immerse themselves into their favorite TV show or movie.

Goal

Help Twitter redefine a consumption experience for people passionate about movies and TV shows to encourage more engagement and tweeting on the platform. Additionally, we want to think of new ways to present content that’s being generated, third party partnerships to introduce new capabilities to Twitter, and other innovative ways to engage users.

Outcomes & Results

Our behavior research was used by Twitters product team to influence product feature strategy. Our recommended strategies led to an increase in engagement and retention by 36% based on consumer behavior analysis.
